Quilters' Question Time
with Philippa Naylor

Hello! 

Award winning quilter, author and teacher, Philippa started sewing handmade dolls dresses when she was a little girl. She has been sewing just about every piece of fabric she can get her hands on ever since.

Training as a clothing designer her first job was designing lingerie for a large UK company.

Moving from England to Saudi Arabia in 1989 Philippa set up a business making bespoke evening and wedding dresses. It was in Saudi that, in 1996, she was persuaded to take a short quilting course. That course opened up a new sewing world and from then on Philippa has made many award winning quilts. These quilts explore a wide range of styles and techniques, and showcase her expertise.

QQT was set up in 2019 and since then we have welcomed many quilters from across the world. The community we have created is a joy and the work our members have made since joining QQT has been inspirational and frankly astonishingly good. We are so proud! All of the classes have subtitles (which you can switch off if you don't want them), and are divided into easy to find sections. We also have an active and supportive Facebook group exclusively for our members. 

Philippa's love of her craft and attention to detail make these on-line sessions informative and inspiring. They are aimed at everyone from beginners to advanced quilters. You are shown the how and the why. Philippa's goal is for her students to get the best results they can whilst enjoying the creative process. She generously shares her knowledge in, what she hopes, is a fun way. Her aim to increase your creativity and desire to try more.
