In this class Philippa uses a Le Moyne star as the centre block of a larger Feathered Star quilt.

Philippa starts by showing how to draft the quilt and create the templates. (The templates are also available as a downloadable file.)

The Le Moyne star is cut and assembled with perfect points and careful pressing to reduce bulk in the centre. The feathered units are then cut and assembled. Finally the border is added and further options for finishing are discussed.
